About The Position
The Clinical Lab Assistant PRN is responsible for specimen integrity, test procedures, laboratory operations, professional accountability, quality control/documentation, and safety. This role contributes to the delivery of high-quality patient care through nursing education, nursing research, and innovations in nursing practice. The position is part of a supportive team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- CLIAFE – must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- 6 Months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy preferred.
- PBT (ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician preferred upon hire.
