Requirements

  • HIGH SCHOOL OR GED
  • ASSOCIATES
  • Provide proof of formal Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training is required (annual recertification is not required)
  • PBT (ASCP) certification highly desirable.

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience in phlebotomy/EKG is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Works under the general supervision of the laboratory section manager in support of the Clinical Laboratory Scientists/Medical Technologists and Technicians.
  • Performs duties in the technical areas of the laboratory including specimen handling, inventory, maintenance and others as assigned.
