About The Position

Sandstone Care is offering a Summer Internship Opportunity for a Clinical Intern who is a 2nd-year master’s degree student in counseling or social work. This is an unpaid internship/practicum opportunity at a Teen & Young Adult Outpatient Treatment Center in Denver, CO. The program specializes in helping adolescents and young adults overcome substance use, mental health, and mood disorders, treating the whole person and supporting families. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, supportive environment, with opportunities to continue for clinical internship hours upon completion of their practicum. The role involves supporting clients' recovery journeys, contributing to treatment goals, and facilitating therapy sessions.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a master’s in counseling or social work program seeking a Summer clinical internship.
• Availability to commit 15-20 hours per week, including at least one evening per week.
• A desire to contribute to a supportive, client-centered treatment environment.
