About The Position
To develop clinical skills while under the supervision of a licensed psychotherapist. Clinical Interns have regular and substantial contact with children, youth and adults at SCO Family of Services. Volunteers/Interns are not used to take the place of staff or to provide coverage to meet minimum staffing standards.
Requirements
- Must meet and adhere to all requirements outlined in the Volunteer/Intern Handbook.
Responsibilities
- Developing therapeutic relationships with clients
- Conducting 1:1 therapy sessions
- Facilitating group therapy sessions
- Completing all required documentation in EHR
- Attending clinical meetings as appropriate
- Collaborating with other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team
