Clinical Instructor (part-time)
About The Position
The University of Maryland, Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, is seeking applications for 2 part-time faculty members at the rank of Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery. There will be two positions at a 0.1 FTE (1 day per week every other week) position. Responsibilities include academic and clinical teaching at undergraduate and residency levels, supervision of dental students, and care of patients in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic and the Acute Care Clinic at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic at the University of Maryland Medical Centre.
Requirements
- DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree
- Eligibility for licensure to practice dentistry in Maryland
- Formal residency training in Oral Surgery/Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (or significant oral surgery experience or preliminary training in OMFS)
Nice To Haves
- Possession of or eligibility for a class III anesthesia permit in the State of Maryland
- Experience in undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching
Responsibilities
