About The Position

This position is for a temporary employee pool for a Clinical Instructor. The role requires a master's degree or equivalent, or advanced professional board certification in a related field, along with a promise of teaching success and scholarly or artistic achievements. Candidates without a master's degree or professional board certification must have equivalent educational or professional experience in the appropriate area of instructional responsibility, and the recommendation for appointment must contain a statement of this equivalence. A licensed physical therapist is required.

Requirements

• Master's degree or its equivalent or advanced professional board certification in a related field of specialization
• Promise of teaching success and of scholarly or artistic achievements
• Equivalent educational or professional experience in the appropriate area of instructional responsibility (if no master's degree or professional board certification)
• Licensed physical therapist

Nice To Haves

• Specialized knowledge and/or experience in one (1) or more areas of the Department of Physical Therapy (DPT) curriculum in which there is a need
• Previous teaching experience
• Education at the doctoral level
• Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
• Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work
