About The Position

CoxHealth is seeking a Clinical Instructor X-Ray/Radiology Technologist for a full-time day shift position at Cox Medical Center Branson. This role is responsible for providing a positive learning environment for students in the clinical setting, completing student evaluations, and acting as a liaison between the clinical site and educational program. The position also involves performing radiology procedures independently or under physician supervision, ensuring patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort. Additionally, the role supports the didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and guidance.

Requirements

Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology
ARRT Registered
ARRT-R must be obtained prior to start date

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree in Radiology or a related field
Successful completion of an approved clinical instructor training course or successfully completes CI Training Course in the first 90 days of hire date
2 years minimum experience in diagnostic radiology
2 Years Related Experience in a Teaching Hospital
1-2 Years Related Experience

Responsibilities

Provide a positive learning environment in the clinical setting for students.
Complete student evaluations as required by the student’s educational program.
Act as a liaison between the clinical site and educational program.
Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, perform radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.
Supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance.
