About The Position
The Department of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants for part-time clinical instructors in the undergraduate BSN program to teach medical-surgical clinical courses.
Requirements
- BSN required.
- Clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing and/or critical care nursing is required.
- Act 153 Clearance Required
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing and/or critical care nursing is preferred.
- Master's Degree and successful professional/teaching experience preferred.
- Will consider applicants enrolled in an MSN program.
Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of students in a clinical setting.
- Evaluation of student performance to ensure clinical course objectives are met.
- Completing post-conferences and other clinical activities to reinforce clinical concepts.
- Performing other duties as required by clinical agency and/or hiring manager (i.e., Dept Head of Nursing)
