About The Position

This is a full-time opening and is open to current UMC employees only. The position summary is to develop, implement, and evaluate programs or educational content for nursing and non-nursing hospital staff. Duties include designing educational programs, assessing staff proficiency in the subject area, developing curricula, and instructing.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nursing school
Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience.
Valid license from the State of Nevada to Practice as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Bachelor's Degree
Three (3) years of recent Med/Surg experience.
One to Two (1-2) years recent educator experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in Clinical Education in an acute care or large hospital setting
Some positions may require certification as a Basic Life Support Instructor or Instructor Certification in Specialty.
Some positions may require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
