About The Position

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing the nutritional status of the inpatient/outpatient population; developing a nutritional plan of care and implementing Medical Nutrition Therapy alongside an interdisciplinary team. The Registered Dietitian will assist training and performance improvement as needed, and provide education to the community periodically.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Food, Nutrition, or Dietetics required.
  • Registered Dietician/Licensed Dietician registered in state of Texas; or RD eligible.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting.
  • Good written and oral communication skills required.
  • Typing and basic computer skills desired.

Nice To Haves

  • One-year experience as a dietitian in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
