About The Position

This role focuses on clinical informatics, requiring extensive experience in implementing changes to clinical workflows, clinical information systems, and training clinical users within a healthcare environment. A key aspect of the role involves implementing the Altera Sunrise suite of products and conducting privacy impact assessments.

Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience working with stakeholders in a healthcare environment to implement changes to clinical workflow, including implementation and training of business process changes.
  • 8 years’ experience involved in the implementation of clinical information systems in a healthcare environment in an analysis role, with at least one example including work with radiology and diagnostic imaging software.
  • 6 years’ experience developing and delivering training for information systems to clinical users including nurses and physicians.
  • 5 years’ experience implementing the Altera Sunrise suite of products in an acute care setting.
  • 1 year of experience conducting and compiling privacy impact assessments for healthcare record systems to assess their compliance with provincial regulations.
  • Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Nursing.
  • Valid Prosci Change Management Certification.
  • Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
