About The Position

Atria Health Institute is seeking a Clinical Informatics Operations Manager & Trainer to provide on-site support for their Los Angeles team. This role is responsible for supporting the EHR (AthenaOne) and other clinical systems, as well as delivering training in various formats. The goal is to ensure clinicians and staff effectively utilize technology solutions to improve patient care, quality, and operational efficiency. The position involves operation management, including supporting the usage of athenaOne and other tools, monitoring system performance, ensuring data integrity, troubleshooting technical issues, setting up new employees on clinical systems, configuring the EHR for clinical workflows, and identifying areas for improvement. Collaboration with Informatics, IT, and Clinical teams is key for system integration and workflow optimization. The role also includes developing job-aids and training materials, conducting one-on-one and group training sessions, contributing to a knowledge base, and traveling up to 50% domestically to support onboarding and training.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of EHR and clinical systems experience in development, implementation, training or support
  • Experience with electronic health records, clinical documentation, and workflows preferred
  • AthenaOne experience preferred
  • 5+ years of on-site and remote support and hands-on training
  • 3-5 years experience in developing training materials
  • Experience working directly with clinical staff
  • 4 - 5 days on-site at the office required; primary office located in Beverly Hills, LA; up to 50% travel
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, interoperability standards, and IT best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities to liaise with stakeholders and train staff and clinical teams
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills to address operational challenges

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing usage of the athenaOne EHR and other clinical and non-clinical tools used by our team
  • Monitor system performance, ensure data integrity, and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Set-up new employees on clinical systems and configure EHR as needed to meet clinical workflows
  • Proactively identify potential areas of improvement in both EHR and clinical systems, and partner with stakeholders to design ways to implement them
  • Collaborate with both the Informatics, IT, and Clinical teams to integrate systems efficiently and to optimize workflows
  • On-site one-on-one and group training sessions to users of clinical systems
  • Develop job-aids and training materials to support various workflows and tools used by clinical users.
  • Travel to various locations to support onboarding new staff, training existing staff and provide additional on-site support as needed (Up to 50% domestic travel)
  • Contribute a knowledge base to support users such as FAQ, job aids, etc.
