About The Position

This position supports St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and works onsite on a hybrid schedule at St. Christopher's in Philadelphia. The Clinical Informatics Coordinator is responsible to provide expertise and support in the evaluation, planning, design, development, implementation, training, maintenance and ongoing support of clinical applications. This role works closely with clinicians, facility/departmental leadership, Quality, Patient Safety, Nursing Informatics, and Information Technology to clarify needs, prioritize requests, advise on technology design, workflow/process redesign, and support change to the enterprise electronic health record and other clinical systems. Has an advanced knowledge of the Epic platform for clinical applications, serves as a facility Epic Credentialed Trainer. Advanced independent interaction with clients and the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and service-oriented follow-through. Advanced understanding of the associated workflow requirements needed to enhance direct patient care, achieve and maintain federal incentives/standards along with outcomes related to patient safety and quality initiatives. Responsible for establishing credibility at all levels and building partnerships with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
