Clinical Informaticist
About The Position
This position will assist with both clinical and technical information systems to enhance the end user experience. In conjunction with the IT Coordinators, the IT Clinical Support Specialist serves as a liaison between clinical operations and information technology teams, providing technical support for healthcare applications, hardware, software, and clinical systems. This role ensures clinicians and staff have reliable access to technology that supports patient care, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and organizational goals. The specialist troubleshoots technical issues, supports clinical workflows, assists with system implementations, and provides end-user education and support.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or professional certification in information technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Nursing, or a related field required.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of clinical experience in a hospital or other medical facility.
- Current Montana driver’s license and ability to be insured.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Current Montana license as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
- Knowledge of Cerner is preferred.
- Informatics certifications or credentialing are preferred.
Responsibilities

- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and work with frequent interruptions and competing priorities.
