About The Position

The Clinical Medical Imaging Informaticist supports the daily operation and optimization of RIS/Radiant, PACS, imaging modalities, and related clinical workflows. This role provides technical support, troubleshooting, training, workflow improvement, and quality assurance while collaborating with Radiologists, Medical Imaging staff, IT, leadership, and vendors. The position supports system implementations, upgrades, data integrity, DICOM digital image data workflows, and compliance requirements while helping develop effective processes, standards, and training programs to ensure reliable and efficient medical imaging services. The ideal candidate has demonstrated knowledge of medical imaging modalities, radiology information systems, technology applications, and clinical workflows, along with strong communication, analytical, training, and problem-solving skills. The candidate should be able to provide effective technical support, collaborate professionally with diverse teams, and adapt to evolving healthcare technology and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field required.
  • 4 years of related experience in radiology operations in an acute hospital setting required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical imaging modalities, radiology information systems, technology applications, and clinical workflows.
  • Strong communication, analytical, training, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide effective technical support.
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with diverse teams.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving healthcare technology and operational needs.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
