About The Position

AnthroMed Education is seeking dedicated CF Mentors to provide mentorship, guidance, and supervision to Clinical Fellows completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) in Illinois school-based settings. As a CF Mentor, you'll play an essential role in helping new clinicians build confidence, develop clinical skills, and successfully transition into independent practice.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Illinois SLP license.
  • Must meet ASHA's Clinical Fellowship mentor requirements, including: Holding an active CCC-SLP.
  • A minimum of 9 months of full-time (or equivalent part-time) clinical experience after earning the CCC-SLP.
  • Completion of at least 2 hours of professional development in clinical supervision, clinical instruction, or mentorship after earning the CCC-SLP.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • Passion for developing new clinicians and promoting clinical excellence.

  • School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship and supervision in accordance with ASHA Clinical Fellowship requirements.
  • Meet regularly with assigned Clinical Fellows to review progress, clinical skills, and professional development goals.
  • Observe therapy sessions and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Support Clinical Fellows with evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, and IEP processes.
  • Complete required supervision documentation and formal evaluations throughout the Clinical Fellowship.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for questions related to school-based practice, compliance, and clinical best practices.
  • Collaborate with AnthroMed's clinical leadership team to ensure Fellows receive high-quality mentorship and support.
