About The Position

The Clinical Exercise Specialist administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed leader. They provide quality exercise and health education for patients, ensuring a safe, pleasant, and professional atmosphere. The role requires productivity and efficiency in daily operations, establishing and updating exercise programs to meet client/participant needs, and supervising/assisting clients/participants with their daily exercise sessions to ensure safety. The specialist provides effective instruction to clients/participants and their families through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training, supports the health education needs of the center, and assists therapists/providers in delivering effective treatment plans. Documentation of patient response to treatment is also a key responsibility, along with completing other clinical duties as assigned and demonstrating the ability to offer support and potential enhancements of services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy, Physical Education, or Clinical Exercise Physiology.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

• Supports Therapist(s)/Providers in providing effective treatment plans.
• Documents patient response to treatment.
• Completes other clinical duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates ability to offer support and potential enhancements of services.
