The Clinical Evaluator position is responsible for evaluating referrals to assigned court programs, conducting initial assessment interviews, and evaluating participants' biopsychosocial capabilities, risk, and treatability. This role involves obtaining medical and behavioral health records, scheduling drug screenings, and communicating assessment and screening results to the court liaison or other involved parties. The Clinical Evaluator also develops and manages treatment plans, serves as a liaison between participants and the court, coordinates social service activities, and participates in a multidisciplinary team. A key aspect of the role is maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, principles, and practices related to court-ordered clinical evaluations.
