As a Clinical Engineer Technician I, you will maintain, service and repair medical equipment by taking preventative measures, cleaning or adjusting pieces as needed. While you may not interact with patients directly, your efforts will leave a positive, lasting impression – from the moment they enter the facility to the time they return home. A caregiver in this position works days, Monday – Friday from 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with on-call requirements. Start times may vary. Must have the ability to float to other CCF locations in the eastern region.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining medical equipment or equipment in a mechanical or electrical technician field OR Associate’s Degree in Biomechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology OR equivalent specialized or military training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine and as needed clinical engineering services (repair, maintenance, relocation, installation, etc.) for equipment.
  • Maintain documentation of equipment, inventory, service and repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
