About The Position

As a key member of the GI team, the Clinical Educator will provide a positive customer experience by ensuring that customers who purchase equipment from Laborie use it as suggested and to their satisfaction, while offering educational guidance to optimize customer usage of diagnostics and products. The Clinical Educator will also partner with the sales team to identify goals and opportunities for training, education, and business development.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience in GI motility testing, i.e., esophageal manometry, anorectal manometry, pH and pH/Impedance testing.
  • 2 years’ experience in medical technology company delivering clinical customer facing material.
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly energized environment with multiple projects.
  • Ability to quickly re-evaluate and prioritize needs based on changing healthcare landscape.
  • Ability to travel 50-70% in a designated region.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensure as a nurse is encouraged.
  • Clinical educator experience in the hospital, clinic, or medical device setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training, education, and support for the installation of newly purchased Gastroenterology capital equipment.
  • Educate end users of the equipment according to Laborie standards.
  • Ensure existing customers are comfortable using their equipment and provide additional training as needed, proactively support customer training needs.
  • Assist the sales team by promoting the sale of disposable and durable products, and extended warranties while onsite.
