About The Position

St Luke's Wood River is a mission-driven, non-profit critical access hospital dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to our mountain community. Our team values collaboration, clinical excellence, and continuous learning across all care settings. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator to support Surgical Services, including the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Endoscopy (Endo), as well as team members such as RNs, CNAs, and Surgical Technologists. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating education programs that promote clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and professional development. The Clinical Educator plays a key role in onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing staff development across the perioperative continuum.

Requirements

  • RN Licensure in the State of Practice
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • 4 years related experience, strongly prefer Surgical Services background
  • Associate's degree in nursing
  • 2+ years related experience, strongly prefer Surgical Services background
