CLINICAL EDUCATOR/ INFECTION CONTROL NURSE
About The Position
Hanover Hill Behavioral Health, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, combines two leaders in health care, in the partnership of Universal Health Services & Lehigh Valley Health Network. This brand new 144-bed free standing behavioral health facility offers the community high-quality behavioral health care services for seniors, adults and adolescents. Hanover Hill is seeking an experienced Clinical Educator/Infection Prevention RN. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team while working in a state-of-the-art facility, including EPIC. The Clinical Educator/Infection Prevention RN is responsible for coordinating the activities of the Facility’s infection control program, by assuming direct responsibility for infection surveillance, infection control reporting, and provision of infection control technical support and education for the facility staff. The Clinical Educator/Infection Prevention RN works in conjunction with the Hospital Epidemiologist.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing
- Current PA licensure required
- 5-8 years of nursing experienced required
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the activities of the Facility’s infection control program
- Assume direct responsibility for infection surveillance
- Assume direct responsibility for infection control reporting
- Provide infection control technical support and education for the facility staff
