About The Position

The Clinical Educator II is a nursing professional who is responsible for a variety of training and developmental duties in healthcare. The Clinical Educator II possesses master-level competencies to ensure nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel have the skills and training to succeed in their individualized units or specialty. Cooper’s Comprehensive Stroke Center includes a 16-bed Neuroscience ICU paired with a state-of-the-art Neuro Interventional Suite, where expert nurses provide seamless, around-the-clock neurological care across a wide range of diagnoses. Pavilion 7, a 30-bed medical-surgical unit, specializes in orthopedic and neurological care and features dedicated beds for stroke and seizure monitoring, including 3 EMU and 10 telemetry-capable beds. Both units are supported by advanced technology and a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient care. In addition to inpatient services, Cooper’s teams also provide community outreach to improve stroke and neurological health education.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years nursing clinical practice in direct patient care required.
  • NJ RN license required
  • AHA BLS required
  • ACLS required within 6 months of hire
