As Clinical Educator for Reprocessing SPD, you will create, improve, and guide training plans for new and experienced Sterile Processing Technicians. You’ll be the face of orientation and training for your facility and team, using your expertise to develop each team member’s skills and abilities. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in Sterile Processing
  • 3+ years’ experience in training
  • Sterile processing certification required
  • Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive training plans aligned with facility priorities and individual staff development needs.
  • Facilitate multi-week, hands-on training programs for all new Sterile Processing team members to ensure readiness and compliance from day one.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of training activities and regularly review programs to ensure alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to identify skill gaps and create targeted development plans for continuous team improvement.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing education sessions focused on the latest products, technologies, and best practices in Sterile Processing.
  • Partner with clinical and administrative teams to ensure training initiatives support broader organizational goals.
  • Foster a learning environment that encourages professional growth, accountability, and high performance.
