The Clinical Education Director provides strategic oversight of the clinical education component of the MS in Pathologists’ Assistant program while also contributing to didactic instruction and broader program operations. This role ensures students achieve required competencies in alignment with NAACLS standards through outcomes-based education, continuous quality improvement (CQI), and comprehensive documentation and assessment processes. Responsibilities include developing and delivering clinical and didactic coursework, coordinating and expanding clinical rotations, evaluating student performance, and providing academic advising and mentorship. The Clinical Education Director also plays a key role in program development, growth, and sustainability by cultivating and maintaining clinical affiliation partnerships that support high-quality training experiences, expand enrollment capacity, and strengthen the program’s regional and national presence. In collaboration with institutional leadership and clinical partners, the position contributes to strategic initiatives related to accreditation compliance, student recruitment, retention, graduate career placement, operational effectiveness, and program sustainability, while supporting the program’s long-term success, competitiveness, and revenue-generating potential through the continued growth and quality of the educational experience.
