Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as one of the following: Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
  • One to three years of leadership or supervisory experience in a mental health setting.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Three or more years of post-licensure clinical supervision experience in youth mental health.
  • Expertise in evidence-based, trauma-informed, and family-centered approaches.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced clinical environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of therapists providing individual, group, and family therapy for children and adolescents.
  • Oversee all clinical operations within the acute hospital and/or residential program.
  • Partner with Psychiatry, Nursing, and Utilization Review teams to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
  • Supervise and develop clinical staff through regular meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
  • Conduct compliance and quality audits, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and agency standards.
  • Engage in community outreach, marketing, and referral development to strengthen community relationships.
  • Drive the implementation of evidence-based practices such as Trauma Systems Therapy (TST), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and Zero Suicide.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for crisis intervention, audits, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, licensure supervision, and training of new and existing staff.
