About The Position

ANNA (Allied Network for Neurodevelopmental Advancement) is seeking a Clinical Director for its center-based roles. This position is responsible for leading a team of BCBAs and Behavior Therapists in providing neurodiversity-affirming, play-based therapy to autistic children under 6. The role involves both clinical leadership and operational ownership, including managing the center's budget, staffing, scheduling, and team culture. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with no nights, weekends, or travel required. ANNA focuses on evidence-based practices like NDBI (Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention) in a joyful and purposeful work environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in ABA, including 5+ years as a credentialed BCBA with an active Massachusetts LABA (Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst) license, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Master's-level clinician; Ph.D. preferred.
  • Experience with clinical leadership and supervision of BCBAs and/or Behavior Therapists.
  • Extensive experience working with children under the age of 6.
  • Commitment to a neurodiversity-affirming approach to clinical services.
  • Comfort owning operational responsibilities such as budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and utilization management.
  • Experience with insurance-based services and knowledge of insurance billing requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (e.g., ESDM, PRT, JASPER).
  • Prior experience owning the full operational performance of a center, unit, or department (budget, staffing, KPIs).
  • In-depth knowledge of behavioral assessment and intervention.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online file storage systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own clinical quality of your center by monitoring client progress, Behavior Therapist treatment fidelity, BCBA implementation fidelity, and other key clinical quality indicators to ensure effective, consistent, and evidence-based care.
  • Provide individual and group supervision to BCBAs and Behavior Therapists, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to our neurodiversity-affirming, NDBI methodology.
  • Supervise BCBAs as they conduct assessments, build intervention plans, and deliver high-quality parent coaching.
  • Monitor clinical documentation and ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Coach and develop your clinical team, helping BCBAs and BTs grow into the next level of their careers.
  • Own your center's performance across growth, utilization, quality of care, staff and caregiver experience, and team engagement.
  • Own the day-to-day operations of your center: staffing, scheduling, supply ordering, facilities, and budget.
  • Manage utilization across your team and coach BCBAs whose utilization falls below expectations.
  • Partner with centralized Talent Acquisition, HR, and Finance teams to keep hiring, employee relations, and clinic finances running smoothly, while owning the outcomes for your center.
  • Create a safe, clean, welcoming space for the children and families we serve.
  • Serve as the direct people manager for your BCBAs and a level-two manager for BTs, including performance management.
  • Lead hiring and onboarding for your center in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive, fun work environment that keeps your team engaged and reduces turnover.
  • Work closely with ANNA's clinical and operational leadership to assess staffing and training needs and support team development initiatives.
  • Participate in individual and group supervision with clinical leadership.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with your clinical team and the families we serve.
