About The Position

The Clinical Director has direct responsibility for the daily operations of assigned department(s). Responsibilities include overseeing daily practice operations, recruitment and retention, adherence to policies and procedures, support for ongoing staff education, compliance with policies and procedures, and fiscal responsibility for the unit or department.

Requirements

• Graduate from an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
• BSN required.
• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Strong planning skills.
• Solid understanding of Patient and Family Centered Care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• 6–10 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• MSN preferred.
• National certification preferred within the specialty area, including critical care, operating room, endoscopy, or trauma.
• Advanced certification may be required for certain specialties, such as ACLS, NRP, or PALS.
• Specialty-area certification preferred, such as CCRN, CMSRN, CNOR, CEN, PCCN, CNML, or NE-BC.
