About The Position

In this role, you will focus on leading and developing our facility-level nurses and managers. This includes hands-on assessing, coaching, and training, quality assurance and improvement, supervisory and management skill development, meeting clinical outcome expectations, and regulatory compliance. Extensive travel within the states of Illinois and Missouri is required in this position.

Requirements

• Valid Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
• BSN or greater level of educational achievement
• A minimum of five (5) years of healthcare management experience, with the highest preference going to applicants with a background in long-term care, acute care, post-acute care, transitional care, therapy and rehabilitation, or a similar field is required.
• Thorough understanding of financial, quality assurance, and management processes

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of multi-site nurse management experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to accept interim assignments at our locations

Responsibilities

• Perform duties and responsibilities with assigned functional area within a nursing home facility which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:
• If needed will temporarily fill the Director of Nursing vacancies in our facilities.
• Develop our nursing teams in post-acute services.
