About The Position
Telecare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Director to lead clinical services at our North Sound Evaluation & Treatment Center (E&T) in Sedro-Woolley, WA. North Sound E&T is an inpatient behavioral health program serving adults experiencing acute psychiatric needs who require a secure, structured environment for evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and recovery support. This is a fully onsite leadership position requiring a strong and visible clinical presence within the program. The Clinical Director partners closely with the Administrator, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality, recovery-focused care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work or a related behavioral health field
- Active Washington State independent behavioral health license required (LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT)
- Candidates must be fully independently licensed; associate-level licenses do not meet the requirements for this position
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in behavioral health
- Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in inpatient, acute, crisis, or intensive behavioral health settings
- Experience supporting individuals with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use needs
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation, compliance, quality, and behavioral health standards

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and oversight to multidisciplinary team members
- Establish and maintain strong clinical systems, standards, and best practices
- Oversee clinical documentation, audits, treatment planning, and regulatory compliance
- Partner with program leadership on quality improvement, risk mitigation, and clinical outcomes
- Support staff development through clinical consultation, coaching, and training
- Participate in incident reviews and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Build effective relationships with community partners, referral sources, and behavioral health stakeholders
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented services
- Participate in a structured Administrative On-Call rotation
