Requirements

• Master's degree in a related social science field such as family/child counseling, development, psychology, or social services.
• Must be a BBS-licensed LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD.
• A valid California Driver's License.
• BLS CPR/First Aid certification.

Nice To Haves

• Four years of direct service experience with the mentally ill, children, adolescents, and/or adults.
• Two years of post-licensure experience with the ability to provide clinical supervision to registered interns/associates and/or practicum students.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Directing and oversight of the staff who provide mental health and support services to clients and their families.
• Acting as liaison with external agencies and functioning on teams with other clinical and support staff.
• Planning, implementation, monitoring, and revision of the clinical treatment program.
• Representing the agency to county agencies and the community.
• Meeting with clients, providing direct care and treatment, and potentially being involved in the client grievance process.
• Overall facility/program management.
• Providing direct clinical supervision of BBS licensed staff, ensuring services are in accordance with BBS standards and signing off on BBS hours.
