Our Day and Residential Division provides comprehensive, compassionate support to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, acquired brain injuries, and complex behavioral needs. Requirements

  • Master's degree in a related field with independent clinical licensure (LICSW, LMHC) will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related clinical experience with individuals with mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and/or complex behavioral needs.
  • Proven ability to supervise and develop clinical staff, function independently, and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
  • Deep understanding of various treatment modalities, Positive Behavior Support (PBS), and person-centered planning.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • BCBA certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall coordination, leadership, and clinical oversight for behavioral and clinical services across the Day and Residential Division.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of master's level clinicians, ensuring high-quality clinical practice and professional development.
  • Lead the implementation of Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and other evidence-based modalities across all programs.
  • Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment/behavior support planning as needed.
  • Collaborate with program Directors and nursing leadership to ensure seamless coordination of behavioral and clinical services.
  • Represent BAMSI with external partners, including state agencies (DDS, DMH), and participate in crisis intervention and risk management.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and developing clinical staff to build a strong, sustainable clinical team.
