About The Position
The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, seeks a full time Director for Quality Management. This individual will support the skilled nursing facility. This position will lead all aspects of quality (performance) improvement activities for the organization, overseeing/coordinating all activities of the organization relating to regulatory and external compliance requirements. Acts as a resource for regulatory standards interpretation/application, including internal audits for regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Master's Degree (preferred) in relevant health field.
- At least five years' clinical nursing experience and quality assurance or quality management experience.
- Thorough knowledge of and understanding of QAPI and QM principles and practices.
- Familiarity with State DOH, and all applicable codes and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
