About The Position

Responsible for the implementation, and oversight of FSRI’s emergency services programming for FSRI’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and the agency as a whole. Supports a trauma-informed, client and family-centered philosophy of care, creates a trauma-informed, team environment to deliver high quality services that follow CCBHC, DCYF, and BHDDH guidelines. Provides supervision to clinical supervisors and staff of programs including Adult and Children’s Crisis (including MRSS) and well as agency-wide Emergency Response System. Collaborates with community partners to provide crisis services to other entities. Maintains and collects data around service utilization to share with funding sources, leadership team and other stakeholders. The Director may act as the agency’s “expert” on crisis intervention and provide consultation and support to both internal programs, as well as community partners, as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required
  • Independently licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor required
  • Experience providing treatment in a behavioral health setting
  • A minimum of 2 years prior clinical supervisory experience required
  • Experience providing emergency evaluation required
  • QMHP required
  • Ability to multi-task and provide leadership to clinical supervisors and multi-disciplinary team members
  • High level of administrative skills required
  • Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Travel to and from clients’ residence, community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs
  • Must be able to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with substance use treatment preferred
  • Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated
  • Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
  • Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
