As Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Services, your expertise and leadership directly impact the quality of care, clinical excellence, and long-term outcomes for the communities we serve. This role places you at the leadership table. As a member of the management team, you’ll collaborate with executive leadership across the agency, help guide strategic decisions and program development and enhancement, influence agency-wide initiatives and service integration, and play a key role in advancing the mission and vision of CFI. If you’re passionate about mentoring clinicians and building high-performing teams, this role provides the opportunity to supervise and support outpatient behavioral health clinicians, provide reflective supervision and professional guidance, help staff grow clinically and professionally, promote trauma-informed, evidence-based care practices, and foster a supportive and collaborative culture. In this role, you’ll ensure high-quality, trauma-informed behavioral health services, lead implementation of evidence-based practices, conduct agency-wide trauma-informed care trainings, support innovative and responsive treatment approaches, and help ensure services remain effective and community-centered. This role offers the opportunity to blend clinical leadership, program oversight, strategic planning, staff development, quality improvement, and community engagement. You’ll have the opportunity to evaluate and improve program effectiveness, help develop innovative service models, ensure programs meet evolving community needs, support agency growth and resource development, and maintain compliance while improving client outcomes. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • Licensed in the State of Iowa
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership, supervision, and program development experience
  • Strong knowledge of mental health, substance abuse, and trauma-informed care
  • Passionate about behavioral health and trauma-informed care
  • Enjoys mentoring and developing clinicians
  • Thrives in collaborative leadership environments

  • Can balance clinical excellence with operational leadership
