About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for a full-time inpatient position to work at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, a 700-bed level III trauma center located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This position will cover the general medicine units. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced Dietitian! This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus! Flexible Work Shifts Available! Opportunity for Some Remote Hours!

Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials
Licensure in North Carolina
Strong leadership skills, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision, and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment
Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Nice To Haves

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Responsibilities

Maintain responsibility for comprehensive nutrition assessments/reassessments and counseling of general and complex patients and their families per the Nutrition Care Process model.
Actively participate in daily multidisciplinary rounding with care team members.
Provide education to patients, as well as staff, and work well with interdisciplinary team.
Be involved in quality improvement and research projects as opportunities arise.
Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns, as needed.
Provide coverage for other inpatient dietitians on weekends, holidays, and as assigned.
