As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or caregivers based on assessment of individual needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to educate staff and develop nutrition treatment programs to ensure optimal nutritional care, in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements. In addition, participate in patient care rounds, performance improvement programs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and performs other related duties as assigned. Gracie Square Hospital offers a multidisciplinary approach to care for patients with psychiatric disorders who can benefit from inpatient hospitalization. Our diagnostic and treatment programs are provided by skilled behavioral healthcare and management teams for a wide range of psychiatric illnesses and disorders. Our dedicated teams include licensed and certified staff members who create a nurturing, therapeutic environment where patients are encouraged to ask questions and gain a better understanding about their illnesses and treatment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition
  • Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) within 6 months
  • Certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist NYS certification within 12 months

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 (one) year of clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian
