About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for UH Elyria Medical Center in Elyria, OH. UH Elyria specializes in emergency medicine, heart and vascular, cancer, and bariatric surgery. This position will cover inpatient services. New and experienced dietitians are encouraged to apply! This position is Monday through Friday, no weekends, and rotating holidays! This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal. Three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year. Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials (or eligible) and be licensed in OH
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player
Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
Participate in community events
Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
Precept dietetic interns
Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
