About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a Clinical Dietitian in Johnson City, TN! This role involves cross-hospital coverage for all inpatient acute care at a 445-bed acute care Level I Trauma Center and children's hospital. The position requires a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensure in TN. The salary range is $51,500-54,000. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
