About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our team at MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This private, non-profit, 150-bed acute care teaching hospital is beautifully situated along the Patapsco River in South Baltimore. We welcome both new graduates and experienced dietitians to apply—this is a great opportunity to grow your clinical skills in a supportive environment. We’re looking for a dietitian to work Monday through Friday, with no routine weekend coverage. The schedule offers a high degree of flexibility to support your individual needs and work-life balance, making this an ideal role for candidates seeking both professional growth and personal balance.

Requirements

Registered and Licensed Dietitian (or eligible) in Maryland
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills
Be a self-starter and a team player
Ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

Provide MNT for a variety of inpatient medical units
Educate patients regarding nutrition therapy for their acute and/or chronic diseases
Perform quality improvement initiatives such as peer chart audits and monthly test trays
Participate in nutrition programming for clinical staff and visitors and occasional community outreach, as well as monthly nutrition in-services to FNS staff
Assist in precepting Dietetic Interns during clinical rotations
