The Clinical Dietitian will develop and implement care plans based on nutritional needs, estimate nutritional requirements using appropriate data and methods, and provide effective nutritional management for all age groups. This role involves updating care plans as needed, counseling patients and families on prescribed diets, and assuming primary responsibility for patient meal planning, nutritional snacks, meal preparation, and cooking within the Eating Disorder Program. The dietitian will ensure meal plans and dietary cards are prepared seven days a week, may participate in multi-family meals, and co-facilitate nutrition education groups. Collaboration with Food Service Management is key for designing balanced meal plans for clients with conditions such as Diabetes, Anorexia, Bulimia, and Obesity. Additionally, the role includes contributing to nutrition-specific educational training for professional staff, colleagues, support staff, students, and the community, and participating in activities that promote professional growth in Nutrition, Diabetes, and Eating Disorders.
