About The Position

Willow Valley Communities is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Dietitian to lead medical nutrition therapy efforts within their Supportive Living community. This role focuses on enhancing Residents' health and quality of life through expert nutritional care, ensuring accurate documentation, and staying current with best practices in long-term care nutrition. The position involves upholding food safety standards, supporting culinary staff, and utilizing technology for reporting. The role is based at Lakeside at Willow Valley Communities in Willow Street, PA.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
• Current Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in Pennsylvania.
• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of experience in senior living or long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and clinical nutrition best practices.
• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) in Dietetics from an accredited college or university; and three years related experience in a Geriatric Long Term Care Facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical nutrition therapy in Supportive Living.
• Ensure accurate and compliant medical record documentation.
• Stay current with best practices in long-term care nutrition, including weight management, pressure injury prevention, tube feeding, dementia care, and chronic disease management.
• Uphold Willow Valley’s HACCP and food safety standards.
• Support and guide the Culinary Supervisor as needed.
• Utilize technology to complete daily reporting and communication.
• Provide nutrition and dietetic consultation for Independent Living Residents in coordination with the Center for Vitality, Continuing Care Assessment Team and Resident Nursing.
