About The Position

Sentara's Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is currently hiring a Clinical Dietitian - Inpatient. This is a Flexi Day shift opportunity. As a Dietitian with Sentara, you will be responsible for managing patient's medical nutrition therapy that includes assessment and diagnosis of Malnutrition, Nutrition focused physical exams, recommendations on diet and oral supplement prescriptions, and the volume, rate, and composition of parenteral and enteral feedings. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Dietetics or other fields and have completed an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics. A registered Dietitian credential is required. If not credentialed (RD, RDN) at hire, must obtain within 9 months. Be a part of a team of progressive and motivated Clinical Dietitians! We work collaboratively with the health care team, food service department, and other nutrition professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or other fields
• Completed an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics
• Registered Dietitian credential (RD, RDN) required at hire or within 9 months
