About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian for Holy Spirit Medical Center located in Camp Hill, PA. This 300-bed, Level II trauma hospital offers a dynamic environment for dietitians to grow their skills across a wide variety of inpatient units and a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH). The position is suitable for both new graduates and experienced dietitians, and dietitians will have order-writing privileges. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian credentials (or eligibility) and Pennsylvania licensure required (or eligibility)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player
  • Ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

Responsibilities

  • Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
  • Perform quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide weekend coverage only every 5th weekend, with Saturday on-site and Sunday on-call
  • Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
  • Precept dietetic interns
