Plans, coordinates, and implements nutritional therapy services for assigned patient populations within a behavioral health setting. This role is crucial in assessing patient nutritional status, identifying individual dietary needs, and developing, implementing, and monitoring patient-specific nutrition care plans. The Clinical Dietitian will evaluate patient responses to nutrition interventions and adjust plans accordingly, while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate medical nutrition therapy. Additionally, this position partners with departmental leadership to ensure nutritionally appropriate menus, food selections, and services for patients and visitors, and provides education, training, and counseling to patients, staff, and community members on various nutrition-related topics. The role also supports organizational initiatives related to nutrition, wellness, and patient outcomes.
