Clinical Dietitian
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a full-time Clinical Dietitian to join Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN, a 341-bed, Level III Trauma Center. In this role, you’ll provide nutrition care across a wide range of units, supporting a diverse patient population. Dietitians have order-writing privileges, allowing you to practice at the top of your license and make a direct impact on patient outcomes. This position also offers flexible scheduling, including the option for some remote work. You’ll be part of a supportive leadership team that prioritizes education, mentorship, and professional growth, with opportunities to expand your clinical expertise. New graduates and experienced RDs are encouraged to apply and join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in IN (or eligible)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player
- Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
Nice To Haves
- For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
- Have order-writing privileges
- Precept dietetic interns
- Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
