About The Position

A well-established hospital located just outside of Tifton, Georgia is seeking a full-time, permanent Clinical Dietitian to join their team! The Clinical Dietitian Job Description: Full-time, direct-hire opportunity Mon-Fri day shift Shared weekend call rotation Great nutrition leadership and administration team! Excellent benefits and competitive pay offered Provides nutritional education to ESRD patients. Tactfully communicates and educates patients and visitors in a positive, informative manner. Communicates appropriately with patients of various ages. Conducts in-service training in areas of diet therapy and patient care as needed. Completes nutritional assessment on all required patients and places it in medical record in a timely manner. Demonstrates the ability to assess and interpret data relative to patient’s age. Demonstrates the ability to adapt technique/treatment to age of patients served. Assesses nutritional status of chronic dialysis patients throughout all stages of the life cycles. Screens patients for nutritional problems, as appropriate for patient’s age, and disease process. The Clinical Dietitian Minimum Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition from an accredited university if graduated before 2024. If graduated after 2024, Master’s Degree required from an accredited university Current Licensure in Georgia as a Dietitian/Nutritionist. Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition from an accredited university if graduated before 2024. If graduated after 2024, Master’s Degree required from an accredited university
  • Current Licensure in Georgia as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of one to two years’ experience in clinical/oncology dietetics in a health care facility.
  • Working knowledge of CBORD and overall diet office functions
  • Current knowledge of nutrition therapy.
