About The Position
Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a Float Clinical Dietitian in Fountain Valley, CA! This role will float and support clinical nutrition services at UCI- Fountain Valley, UCI- Los Alamitos, and UCI- Placentia Linda in an acute care setting. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
- Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
- Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
