About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring a Clinical Dietitian for the Hahn Cancer Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity with great benefits. The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for managing patients' medical nutrition therapy in accordance with the medical staff-approved clinical practice standards in the outpatient setting. Serves as a resource for nutrition education.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) – Other/National
Registered Dietician (RD) – Other/National
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Other/National
If Bachelor's Degree is in major other than Dietetics, must complete an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics.
If not Reg Dietitian or RDN at hire, must obtain within 9 months.
BLS required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

Managing patients' medical nutrition therapy in accordance with the medical staff-approved clinical practice standards in the outpatient setting.
Serving as a resource for nutrition education.
