To provide high quality healthcare through the provision of medical nutrition therapy in a variety of settings to meet the needs of patients, their families and other healthcare professionals. This role involves determining WIC Medical/Nutritional risk, providing nutrition education and support to WIC participants, and coordinating duties with the Program Manager. The Clinical Dietitian will also assist in outreach programs, represent the WIC Program on advisory boards, develop local procedures, provide in-services to WIC staff, and act as a preceptor for students. The position requires maintaining RD/LD credentials through continuing education.
